Au Stekerlapatte

I visited this restaurant twice and may just have a final visit tomorrow, before heading home. The restaurant has a beautiful feel and everyone is greeted warmly by the friendly staff. visit 1, I had the beef stew!!! 10/10 Visit 2 I had the muscles in Garlic and White wine sauce again 10/10... the portion size was huge, and really enough for 2 people, but I finished it all!!!  Costa is amazing at what he does, very friendly, and made sure I was ok during both my visits.If you are visiting Belgium, be sure to visit this beautiful restaurant.

We came for the food which we heard is great but got so much more! We came around 20h on a Saturday for dinner and to our surprise there was live music, which was beautiful and really made a great atmosphere. The whole evening people were laughing, clapping and even dancing, it was wonderful! We had great fish and dishes, but everything on the menu looked great! We would definitely come again and recommend it to friends!

Despite our reservation, told there was a private party on arrival and made to feel unwelcome. We were put in a brightly lit back room beyond the charming restaurant. Told we could leave if we didn&#39;t like it. Amateur food. Tried to overcharge us by 8.5 euros.

Go for one of their signature bowls or make your own bowl instead. Plenty of healthy options, but all still tasty too. Eat well, enjoy and feel good!

Probably the worst tacos I&#39;ve eaten. Had no taste and the meat was bitter.

Very small shop, seafood is good, oysters are very cheap, the taste of salmon is very good, the lamb chops are delicious, there is no lamb stew, and the vanilla tastes very good. As a main dish, the waiter&#39;s attitude is also very good.

Great food!! Rabbit leg and pork ribs were outstanding. Friendly staff.

Great service all of the waiters were very friendly and always paying attention if something was needed. The food was very good, very recommendable the ribs and the carbonade a la flamande!

A hidden gem in a side-street in the Marolles. The menu offers a palette of Belgian specialties. It is a welcome pleasure that these include dishes that are increasingly rare elsewhere: marrow bones, offal, black pudding, rabbit. My only quibble on the food side: the rather ordinary croquettes and unimaginative side vegetables. Good ambience and attentive service. Altogether highly recommended.

Authentic Belgian, not overwhelmed by tourists. Highly recommend!

Wonderful discovery!  We had a great lunch with 5 tapas,  The service was professional and efficient. We chose to sit inside in order enjoy the authentic atmosphere/decor. The quality of the food is excellent and the price was very correct. Going back this week already!
